With the aim of creating a space where the different generations of infectious disease specialists can meet and create new links, the interactive workshop will eliminate the barriers between speakers and attendees through the active participation of the participants.
How does the workshop work?
1- Speed-dating: The participants will dialogue during a determined time with the specialist of the area of interest that they have selected. With all the information collected during this activity, the specialists will give a brief update on the most common challenges in each area.
2- Presentation of clinical cases: They will form small groups and will present a clinical case of the area of interest that they have selected.
Send us a clinical case and you will have the opportunity to get a free registration to the national scientific congress that you decide! Among all those people who send a clinical case, a free registration will be raffled to the national scientific congress decided by the winner. In addition, to be able to participate in the draw, you will have to participate in the workshop in person.
Presentation of clinical cases
The attendees who will present a clinical case related to one of the 5 thematic areas (Multi-resistant bacterial infections, CMV in transplantation, COVID in immunosuppression, New strategies in the treatment of HIV, International Health), will have to send a Word document with a Summary of the case (1 page maximum) to the email info@fls-science.com before May 26, indicating the area of connection to which pertany. In the term of two weeks, the committee will review the case and, from the organization, we will inform each participant if they have been accepted to present it. The organization will be in charge of preparing the event to be presented.
Important note: It is not mandatory to present a clinical case to attend the workshop but, since it is an activity with limited places, it is prioritized the applications for registrations that have presented a case before May 26.
