The program is intended for young health professionals interested in specializing in HIV/AIDS, as well as already established professionals that want a deeper understanding of some specific issues.

The webinar offers a complete update in HIV/AIDS science, from basics to epidemiology and clinical grounds. Having identified the most pertinent lessons of HIV disease, this project offers lectures given by the most relevant scientists in the field that can be viewed on-demand.

To obtain the accreditation for CME credits, participants must complete each module during the next two months of publication. Alternatively, participants can access only those that are of their interest obataining also accreditation for CME credits. The program has two tracks - in English and Spanish.

After finishing this activity, participants should be able to get themselves up to date in the most current knowledge about HIV/AIDS and its complications, including information regarding epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment of HIV infection and its complications. They should also be able to translate the latest basic and laboratory research into their daily clinical practice, including new developments in relevant HIV pathogenesis, comorbidities and antiretroviral treatment.

Accreditation

The HIV from A to Z – Module 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 , 8 and 9 organized by FLS Science, is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists.

Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Only those e-learning materials that are displayed on the UEMSEACCME website have formally been accredited.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

An application of this e-learning activity has been made for the following modules to the UEMS EACCME®️ for CME accreditation.
