Fight Infections Foundation and the Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron launched in 2017 the accredited workshop The Barcelona HPV Course / Jornadas sobre el VPH, which is held year after year in Spain.

The aim of the conference is to review HPV (human papillomavirus) in the context of HIV infection, explore the latest research in HPV science and vaccinology in both men and women, and offer practical sessions aimed at professionals who regularly care for HIV-infected individuals and are interested in implementing their own anal cancer screening programme in patients at increased risk of HPV infection.
