Dr. Rebecca Zash, MD is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) where she is a practicing physician and specializes in the treatment of infections during pregnancy. Dr. Zash is also a research associate at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and the Botswana Harvard AIDS Institute Partnership. Her research is based in Botswana and focused on the impact of HIV and antiretroviral medications on pregnancy. Dr. Zash is also a member of the United States Department of Health and Human Services perinatal HIV guidelines committee and the WHO working group for drug safety in pregnancy in LMICs.
